Off the Buses

10.18.14pm GMT Thu 9th Mar 2006

A recent survey of Kirkby residents uncovered a worrying lack of public transport in the area. The lack of buses to Sutton from the Southwell Road area, and the lack of public transport after 6:30pm were highlighted by several local residents.

Following on from the survey, Local Liberal Democrat campaigner Austin Rathe has written to Trent Barton Buses to discuss these concerns, and to see what can be done to have the service improved. We'll be following this issue up, and hopefully we can make a difference. We'll let you know how we get on.
